HI,
I currently am working on a project to manage our PCA hosts. We have 50-75 hosts that are not connected to our network. We have a work group setup on our computers here in the office. I have 4 employees that need this information and it would be nice if when one account got change it would reciprocate to the other users. The PCA management utility will not work because our PCs are not a part of a domain. Now I am not sure of how to do this task-fully without coping profile from one computer to another. Also on some of these host boxes out user name and password get changed every 6 months, so ideally our solution would accommodate that, however that is not the concern at the moment. Thanks again for any help.

Not really any good way to do that that I can see

if you always used a pcAnywher caller and it was the same caller then when you changed your password you could then at that time save the caller and distribute the single caller file using what ever meathod you currently use to distribute files.   I can see that in this environment you may not have any meathod to distribute files so it may need to be that a self extracting zip file would be used that was configured to extract it's content to a specific folder.  In this case the folder would be C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\pcAnywhere\Hosts\ and it would need to automatically over write the file that was already there with the updated caller that has this month's new password.

That would be as close as I can see doing this.

Do you currently have any centeral managment services? like the microsoft SMS or Altiris Notification server?

Cheers.
