pc anywhere connection out of state

Created: 31 Dec 2011 | 1 comment

My PC Anywhere works fine in my home state ( Alaska) but when I go out of state it can't detect the device. Is there some setting or something different that I need to do when I am out of state?

Hello,

Most likely your ISP is blocking the PCA ports.

Read this article: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=testing%20pc%20anywhere%20connection%20telent&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CEgQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fservice1.symantec.com%2FSUPPORT%2Fon-technology.nsf%2F293a5302ae81e39288256ebb0049cfe7%2F0128ac755a928e4c8825734e0058c3d7%3FOpenDocument&ei=SVsoT9iXJ-OZiAKm8_yXAQ&usg=AFQjCNFg6HbrFzkz7LwKKaDVVjTyrX-1Fg

It will show you how to test your PCA connections using Telnet.
