PC Anywhere Upgrade Question

Hi Team,
We are running with PCAnywhere 11.x version, and we need to upgrade the product to 12.x so that we can apply security update to product. My question is:
1: Is there a free upgrade available?
2: Do, I require a seperate licenece for the product to upgrade the product?
Any help would be much appreciated.

The 12.5 version is available for free if a valid maintenance contract exists. Then Symantec Customer Care will provide valid credentials to download the latest version from FileConnect.
This download version could be used to perform an upgrade. The article below shows how:

An upgrade license will be provided by Customer Care as well then.
