  • 1.  PC restart!!

    I face a critical problem of my pc getting restarted after few seconds of installation of any new software and my pc screen also starts flickering. I get an error message RSBAT. does not work!!! Kindly Help!!!!

    Hi,

    Which Symantec products are installed on the PC.

    did you faced this issue after installation of any Symnatec product or you are suspecting any virus infection.

    Hi.

    Have you tried booting through safeboot? If you see any error message then follow the below steps.

    1) Create a new user account and boot from new user account.  Hopefully the error message should disappear.

    2) To permanently resolve this issue.  Take a back up of your registery and delete the startup programs entries which you can located under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.

    Note:  Delete the entries of those which you doesn't want them to startup when your computer boots.

    I guess the step 1 should resolve your issue.
