Hi Guys,

We are about to embark replacing our WinXP machines to Win7 and wish to use PC Transplant to capture the user state. Many of these machines will have multiple domain profiles. I am unsure on how to automate via CMS as looking at the template builder. Within the builder the user capture options allow for local or domain. I wish to select domain users but do I need to know the username or can I use a wildcard? We can capture fine using PCTWiz manually so just looking for easy automation as we have 10,000 machines to upgrade.

Thanks

Leave local and domain unchecked and it will gather all users.

OK thanks. I have now unchecked both local and domain boxes. When I run the the capture via CMS it says successfull but I cannot find the results. I have tried playing around with the location of the package. Even if I use the defaults I cannot find the exe file. Can you please advise where I am going wrong.

If you go to Manage > All Resources, then expand Default > All Resources > Software Component > Personality Resource, is it listed?  If not, can you share your command line used for PC Transplant?

Hi, I found them. Fogot we had created an additional deployment share on one of our old ds servers. The exe were living there.

Thanks for your help
