Hi

We are using ITMS 7.1

We have many systems in workgroup and now joining to domain.

Now we have to have capature user personality from workgroup and want to deploy personality after user login on that system through domain account

1) I having one doubt that how personality work from workgroup to domain or it is possible

2) If i have to capature personality of 5000 users then I have to create 5000 template or not?

 

Before I build templates, I usually run through the process manually via the PCTWizard itself, as you see what options you have right away.

I do not see why you cannot migrate a workgroup user to a domain user, as PCT does have a user mapping feature.

Templates usually allow variables, or at the very least as part of the commandline syntax, so you should opnly require one template as long as it will work on all OSes, so some testing should obviosuly be done first.

what SK was saying is that PCT should not have any trouble migrating a workgroup user to a domain user - it will work fine.

I can undestand this.......but we facing while installing task

We have created template.exe and stored on path but capture personality task not working.

all other task from NS server like update client configuration, restart computer etc all are working only capture personaliy task not getting client computer.

Required plug of deployment solution are installed on client computer.
