Hello,

As the "only" alternative to our issue with Carbon Copy will be to go with pcAnywehre I would like to know if there is any information about:
- pcAnywhere is available from the shelf
. does it have a connector to NS
. does it work only on stand alone
- when the pcAnywhere "Solution" will be integrated to NC7?

Thank You,
Dom

Many people have used

Many people have used pcAnywhere in workgroup machines as well as stand alone. The only difference is that workgroup machines usually don't belong to NT domains. I hope that answers your stand alone question.

IN 7

From what I have heard and seen PCAnywhere is the Remote Control solution for NS7. Carbon Copy doesn't exist in 7 from what I've heard.

Carbon Copy End Of Life

I hosted a meeting for our Altiris representatives just last week. We do this annually to budget for any upgrades or new products we would like to adopt.

Carbon Copy will end of life around August 2009. PCAnywhere will be a "scaled down" version from the off-the-shelf version availble for purchase.

I have used PCAnywhere for remote support since the early 90s. The product is solid and reliable. PCAnywhere will connect into NS7 just as Carbon Copy does now.
