pcAnywhere 12.5 from DSL to Dial-up

Created: 30 May 2012 | 1 comment

I'm trying to connect to a remote system where the only available connection is a dial-up modem.
On my end, the only available connection is a normal DSL internet connection.

Is it possible for me to connect from DSL to Dial-up using pcAnywhere 12.5? Both sides are running Windows XP.
If so, is there any documentation showing the procedure/settings needed for this type of connection?

Thanks!

I can't see why you couldnt. As soon as the user is dialed up they have an IP address no different to a DSL User. it will be painfully slow though.

You will just need the IP address details and then you should be able to connect in.

Regards Jim.
