Bonjour,

je rencontre un problème sur certains postes de mon parc (20 postes impactés sur 5000 environ).

suite à l'application du HotFix sur PcAnywhere, certains postes ont le message suivant à l'utilisation de QuickConnect :

"Il n'y a pas de péripherique selectionné pour cet élément de connexion"

Après désinstallation de l'agent Symantec puis reinstallation en mode push depuis la plateforme SMP => même problème.

les ports sont bien ceux par défaut 5631 & 5632.

le problème ne vient pas non plus du Firewall (testé en activé et désactivé) avec le même résultat.

i try 2 command lines :

1) SMP-PCA-Uninstall.exe /upcaplugin -> To uninstall PCA plugin only.

2)SMP-PCA-Uninstall.exe /uall-> To uninstall SMP agent and PCA plugin (with/without pre vega security hot fixes).

Result :

on the fisrt pcaquickconnect launch, we've got this error (not detected before) :

"pcatempl.bhf is not a valid PcAnywhere file"

and the second error is the same.

"Il n'y a pas de péripherique selectionné pour cet élément de connexion"

Hi,

I think that we have a user rights issue, because quickconnect is ok when we launch it from the local administrator account.

I check NTFS rights on files and registry keys, and all seems to be OK.

But the same error appear in the domain user account.

what can i check to troubleshoot rights issue ?

J'ai trouvé une solution :

1.    Supprimer le fichier : c:\users\ « profil de l’utilisateur » \Documents\pcAQuickConnect\pcAQuickConnect.chf

2.    Redémarrer le service "Service Hote Symantec PCAnywhere"

3.    Lancer QuickConnect via un clic droit et "Executer en tant qu'administrateur"

il est parfois nécessaire de faire 2 fois la manipulation...
