PCanywhere - Add Host Certficate

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Today I did an upgrade of PCanywhere through the SIM to 12.6.8096

Everytime I remote from the NS to computer I am prompted "to trust this computer and add it to your trusted list" I select Trust always. prior to the upgrade I did not get this prompt, is there a setting I can change in the NS to prevent this as we have 9000 computers or is there a group policy setting etc.

The certificate appears to get stored on the local computer I opening the console on and not on the server, as I get the same prompt for the same computer, this means that each time a different service desk operator remotes a computer they will get the prompt.

Thanks,
Catherine

This is a change on how the encryption is taken care of and as a result you are informed about the certificate for each machine.   You should be able to ignore a specific host's cert but you would have to select to ignore for 9000 times in your environment.    This is because of the new encryption technoligy that is in use.    If you are not interested in encryption you could set up your host to not use the encryption and thus avoid the initial pop up.
