pcAnywhere Changing Security Policies

I have always purchased and installed pcanywhere on computers being used on my automation plant network without any issue. Recently we added a new 2008 server that we are in the process of making our new domain controller for 20 workstations. While in this process we found that if we remote desktop into a workstation then disconnect from it, it does not release the host waiting for next caller. You must reboot the machine running host before reconnecting to it, or stop and start the service and restart the host. Versions of pcanywhere installed are 10.5 to 12.5.1, we are upgrading equipment and software gradually. We are wondering if something in the 2008 domain is changing security policies, but some of these machines have not been joined to the new domain yet. They are however on the same LAN with the new server. Any help would certainly be appreciated, Thanks

Limitation of pcANywhere trying to connect to session 0 and the incoming remote session.  Windows then has 2 active sessions and pcA can't digest 2 active keyboards, mice, and video sysytems.  (lame mans understanding maybe it is more technical than that)   any way there are a lot of KBs on pcA and TS or RDP not working together. 

You will need to stop the service remotely then connect with RDP then when you have disconnected from RDP remotely start the service back up.   Or don't use RDP use pcAnywhere since it is already installed.  Or don't use pcAnywhere just use RDP.    Bottom line they don't play well together.
