I have been using pca for many years 12+, and when version 12 came out I was pleased to see the gateway feature. I am not able to get it working however, and any need help...please.

I have a 6-computer network that I remotely control (file transfer)

Each computer on the network is running XP-pro with pca 11.5 running in host mode that starts with windows,

I have configured the Linksys router using port forwarding to access each computer. Each computer has a static IP, and I enable the computer I connect to using the router. I am using ports 5631 and 5632.

I installed the gateway on one of the computers using ports 5631 and 5632. I enabled access to the gateway computer via the router (port forwarding). Not of the other computers are enabled on the router. I am able to connect to the gateway as it asks for a password but then I get a message saying, Connection failed.

None of the other 5 computers shows up in the gateway manager. What am I missing here?

It would be nice to access the gateway then access the computer that I want, instead of having to enable each computer via the router.

Thanks your any help

Using pcA with FW Router

I would recommend that you try pcA Access Server with pcA - it is more resilent and better option for using with FWs, NAT, Consumer routers, etc. and maintains the reverse connection with the pcA access server for connections.

on the gateway machine you don't also have host running do you?

I would suggest following this document to see if any steps were missed.  Also is there a host on the same pc as the gateway?
