Hello, Im currently trying to use pcanywhere to view a little cctv system i have setup, When i connect to the remove computer, I can see everything and everything works fine. the only thing i cannot see and which is the main reason for this setup is that i cannot see the CCTV camera's live feed.

Why is this?

I see my cctv program, i see all the GUI/layout, and where the camera video should be theres just black boxes, instead of the actual video feed.

Can someone please help?

Thanks alot!

Hi t0pP8uZz,

Which pcAnywhere version are you using? There is some limitation that pcAnywhere faces while watching a real-time video. Please see the following knowledgebase article which explains the problem in detail.

Thanks,

Streaming video is problimatic with remote control software.

The simple answer is probably not.  But based on the second link Pearl included maybe in the latest version it can be done.  Post your results if you don't mind.

cheers
