  • 1.  PCAnywhere versions..

    I'm planning on getting the latest version of CMS up and running. While running some tests I cannot PCAnywhere to an existing host from the new server.

    The version of PCA on the new server is 12.6.8096

    The version on the client is 12.5.542.0

    Under settings, agents, the PC Anywhere plugin upgrade policy is enabled, correct?

    yes. I would have still liked to connect from old environemnt to updated clients (as well as connect from new environement. I'm basically having to start a fresh install and will migrate software/settings etc over manually.

     

    scrap that - just managed to test and it doesn't work. probably not the best way to migrate anyway...

    Provided your authentication settings are fine, it shouldn't care from which server you initiate from, all other things equal.
