Our Antivirus was working fine and lately I can see some of the workstations have dropped off from the management list. I noticed this when I upgraded from 12.1 MP1 to 12.1.4013.4013. As you can see from the attached doc the PCs are communicating with the server and has the right sylink.xml file as well as a pc which is visible on the management console. It is even updating the antivirus on a regular basis except the visibility. I even searched the whole heirarchy and cannot see these machines when searched. I need some in correcting the issue.

Yes
I have even re-installed the Symantec Endpoint protection on one of the machine which appeared briefly on the management console and then disappeared.
when you uninstalled, did you verify if the registry entry and xml pertaining to hardware id is removed?

Thats because of duplicate hardward ID delet it , it will show up in the manager
