Does PCT capture encrypted folders/files? I'm going to be doing an in place migration and the user has a encrypted downtime file folder. Is it as simple as entering the file extension into the template or are there other steps that need to be done?

Thank you,
Ann

PCT 6.8 SP3 now supports EFS files.

Prior to SP3, you could still migrate EFS files, as long as you are running PCT under the security context that owns the EFS files.  When PCT migrates them, it removes EFS, so that it can be reapplied by the target machine.

SP3, however, behaves differently, in that it retains the EFS on the files throughout the migration.
