    Hello,

I'm try to get someone permissions to create subtasks and templates but having trouble locating the necessary permission required.

For the subtask templates workflow, you can give the ServiceDesk.Services.Items.ManageTaskTemplates permission and also the ServiceDesk.Services.Categories.Administrative permission to view the service catalog category.  Are you also looking for the permissions necessary to create a new subtask while in an incident?

Correct.  The user was looking for a way to create a subtask while in an incident.

From what I see, as long as the user has permission to work/resolve the ticket, they should be able to create a subtask.  Check the permissions on the ticket itself and see if the user or a group they are a member of has the Can Edit permission.  I can't remember if Can Administrate is required for this functionality but it might be.
