    1. Dear First check the telnet for 8000 port from that site machine to endpoint server.
    2. Check telnet from endpoint server to enforce server of that site
    3. Restart the endpoint servers and then enforce services
    4. Still having problem provide the logs from the installed machine of that site in installation folder i.e C:\Program Files\Manufacturer\Endpoint Agent\OperationLogs

    Hi K S Sharma,

     

    I have performed above mentioned steps. Ports are already open as well i can reach form client to Detection server and Enforce server to detection server by 8100. but still clients are not reflecting on Enforcer.

    Are you using the proper Endpoint Server address/hostname, if deploying via command line using .msi installer?

    Are you using the task for Changing Endpoint Server on Altiris SMC, if deploying via Altiris DLP Portal?

    If your scenario is first one, try using Altiris and see if this works.

    Hi Kalpesh,

    There could be two possiblity,

    1. eitether wrong hostname/IP mentioned of endpoint server pointing in agent installation script
    2. chcek the site is in right subnet and can communicate to ur network properly
    3. check deployment configuaration methods and script paramaeter like endpoint server ip and key,password etc.
    4. manual installation on 2-3 machine by the installation script which u used in Altiris. if after manaul installation it successes then there is something wrong between installation methods

    I have varified, Endpoint Server address is proper.

    All the steps are followed but still DLP Agents are not reflecting.

    Did u checked by installing on few machine of that site by manually, and whether they are reporting to enforce server or not after installation. If its reporting then there could be possiblity that endpoint server may have any issue.

    Kalpesh..

    1. What OS are you installing the agent on?
    2. Is the EDPA and WPD service running on the endpoints?
    3. Make sure you are installing the Agent as an Administrator. Windows 7 is very strict about this.
    4. What do you mean by not Reflecting? Are the agents showing up in the Enforce UI?
    5. How are you installing the agents? Manually or via a software deloyment tool?
    6. Send us a copy of the Install.bat file if you are using it.
    7. Make sure that you have the right name of the Endpoint Server in the install file and that you can ping that server from the Laptop/Desktop

    Hope this makes sense.
