PGP 9.0.6 Licensing Issue

Created: 28 Aug 2012 | 3 comments

HI,

I am getting this error when trying to license, these are the results of the attempt with debug on.

Trying authorization server http://authorize1.pgp.com/authorize64
Error -11092 authorizing license
Trying authorization server http://authorize2.pgp.com/authorize64
Error -11092 authorizing license
Trying authorization server http://authorize3.pgp.com/authorize64
Error -11050 authorizing license
pgp:license authorize (2709:license authorization failed)
pgp:license authorize (3153:connection failed)

We have a proxy server, but I made sure that was added to the license command, but i am uncertain if this is the problem.

Thanks.

Thanks for the posting Tom Mc, but the KB articles are for PGP desktop, while I am using PGP Command Line.

My problem is similar to the topic raised by drbobjr , which he posted 2 topics prior to this.

Our similarity is we can't tell if we have network issues or the licensing server has issues licensing the product.

Thanks

I have come to understand that the authorization servers are down.  They were recently moved from San Francisco (where PGP Corporation had them located) to a Symantec data center in Arizona.  I do not have any information on when they will come up again, sorry.  In the mean time, please contact Customer Support for licensing assistance.
