  • 1.  PGP client without forced WDE

I used to have a client install that did not contact the server and did not do automatic WDE.  I created a group and a policy called "nothing" and exported a client.  I used it to install on a computer that was bitlockered but needed to access a PGP encrypted disk..  THe problem is it stopped working and now will try to encrypt the whole disk.  It's almost like it's using the default policy even though I told it not to.

    Any tips?

You may need to map that policy (nothing) to a group, then download the client using preset policy group. As you will want to acess the encrypted disk and perform disk encryption task, make sure to enable WDE feature from effective policy.
