    Hi All,

We are using Command Line 9.8 build 28.

We recently migrated to a Virtual Machine.  Command Line was installed and successfully licensed and our key was imported.  When we run command line using the same code as in our previous environment we receive the message "key number:encrypt (3064 key invalid)".  The key number displayed matches what is displayed in --list-keys and the key that is being used in our application.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Brian

I'm not a Command Line PGP user, but if this is your personal key, it sounds like you need to set it as having Implicit Trust.  If it is someone else's public key, it sounds like it needs to be signed by your key.

This is a public key.  When I try signing it I receive the following message (3049:key unsuitable for signing).

That sounds like you may be trying to sign with either a public key or a private key that is not set as having implicit trust.

When I try to set trust I receive the following message (2023:cannot set trust on invalid key).

Sounds like it is just a public key.
