PGP Desktop 10.2 - Missing Outlook Addin / Outlook Addin cannot be installed

I'm not familiar with this being needed.

    Dear all,

    I am currently evaluating PGP Desktop 10.2 and I cannot get the Outlook Addin working.

    I have tried on Windows 7 (x64) with Office 2010 (x86), Windows 7 (x64) with Office 2007(x86) and Windows XP (x86) with Office 2007 (x86) - no success.

    On all machines I have added the PGPolplg.dll in Outlook (Trustcenter) manually - no success.

    Any suggestions?

    fyi:

    The Outlook Addin does not even appear in the list of COM Addins in Outlook

    Do you have the Outlook buttons enabled on the Messaging tab of PGP Options?

    @Tom MC
    No, I do not have any Outlook button(s) in the Messaging tab of PGP Options

    @JulianM
    No - as I have not used the local .\Administrator as such - but, yes, I have installed it using an account which is member of the local administrators group (by either direct membership or nested membership)

    Are you in a PGP Universal managed setting where this may have been disabled?

    No, I am using the Corporate license (PGP Desktop Corporate 10.1 Win Per Device, Trial License)

    I'm a little confused as to which PGP version you are actually using.  Outlook 2010 is not officially supported until PGP 10.2, but the 32 bit version of Outlook 2010 are believed to work with PGP 10.1.  If you are using PGP 10.1, your problem might not be there with 10.2.

    I have installed PGPDesktop 10.2.0 MP3, as offered by the Symantec Website / Trialware.

    Please note that I have tested on two machines with Office 2007 installed which have the same problem...

    I'm puzzled as to the need to install PGPolplg.dll manually.  Apparently, installing PGP is not placing it in C:\Program Files\PGP Corporation\PGP Desktop?

    The PGP installer copies the PGPolplg.dll to C:\Program Files\PGP Corporation\PGP Desktop - however, it does not add this as a COM-AddIn in Outlook. And this latter part is what I did manually.

    Tools----Options----Messaging----"Enabled  PGP encrypt and sign botton in the Outlook"

    Windows 7 (x64) , Office 2007(x86), PGP 10.2
