Created: 13 Sep 2013 | 2 comments

Hello,

We have multiple licenses on Windows XP that will be upgrading to Window 7-32 and 7-64 bit stations.  Could you pass along the installed needed for PGP Desktop Home and if needed any specialized instructions?  Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Windows 7 support started with PGP version 9.12.  The installation is the same as for Windows XP.  If you are currently using PGP's whole disk encryption (WDE), you need to decrypt your hard disk before upgrading your operating system to Windows 7. Use the 32bit PGP installer for 32 bit Windows, and the 64 bit PGP installer for 64 bit Windows.
