PGP Desktop WDE > connectivity to Universal Server?

I have two guest VMs running in VMWare Workstation v7, on a Win7 host machine: 1) Universal Server and 2) WinXP w/ PGP Desktop (WDE).

Both have static IPs, and are connected to "LAN 1". On the WinXP VM, the /etc/hosts file has an entry for keys.pgpdemo.local. I can ping and resolve the US' IP address and hostname, respectively.

I have a group and test policy, and have downloaded the PGP Desktop client from the US (and installed it on the WinXP machine). I appear to have an entry on the US for this client, and keys, as though it has registered back to the US.

But, when I boot or reboot the WinXP VM, I get an error message telling me that the PGP Desktop client can't connect to the US.

WDE has not occurred, even though the client is configured for it.

Any idea(s) why I'm having these problems?

    Thanks.

You might have better results on this in the PGP Universal Servers forum.
