PGP Drive Encryption and decryption from universal server....

I have query ...Is there any way to manage the Drive Encryption and decryption from the PGP Universal server.

Yes, all done by policy, go into Consumers, all the options for controlling the encryption of end users desktops are all controlled there

No. what i am asking ...my question is this can i encrypt or decrypt a client machine through the PGP Universal WEB Console.???

Yes, you can trigger 'Encryption' using the Universal Server console for primary hard disk and removable drives. You have to enable 'Auto encryption' for fixed drive, and there is an option like 'Lock Removable..' on the same tab to initiate automatic encryption of removable drive.

There is no such option on the UN to trigger decryption of drives, however we do provide command line options for WDE on the client, which you can use to trigger decryption on the client machines.

@Vaibhav....you mean to say that we can trigger the command line for decrypting a client machine from the UNiversal WEB console or we have to put the command line by going to the client machine.

We have to enter the commands at the client end.

Remotely you can use a batch file to trigger the commands on the client or use some software to trigger the commands.
