If endpoint/desktop in encrypted with PGP desktop encryption then DLP can easily scan for confidential data which may be in encrypted form and can SEP scan the data for threat / virus identification. How much impacts will be on 3 of symantec application if they all are used.

SEP should be able to scan before/after encryption.

    Hi Salim,

DLP ,SEP and PGP all are complementory and all are from symantec which more easy to integrate and maximize security. Yes there might have some conflicts between these but they can be resolved from support. for more details refer below

If they're all used at the same time?  It will be nasty.  But why would you use them all at the same time?  There's no use-case for such a thing.

Encryption reduces performance by about 10%.  SEP reduces performance (non scanning) by about 3-5%, I'm not sure about DLP that isn't my product.

All in all, it will be fine, but if you're encrypting, virus scanning and using DLP all at the same time, don't expect to get any work done
