We recently renewed our symantec pgp email encryption license. I received the Symantec express sales order and summary table. Below is what the summary table shows:

SYMC ENCRYPTION MANAGEMENT SERVER BY PGP 3.3 PER USER BNDL STD LIC EXPRESS BAND E ESSENTIAL 12 MONTHS, QTY:15

SYMC ENCRYPTION MANAGEMENT SERVER BY PGP 3.3 PER USER I/O ESSENTIAL 12 MONTHS, QTY:15

SYMC ENCRYPTION MANAGEMENT SERVER BY PGP 3.3 PER USER RENEWAL ESSENTIAL 12 MONTHS EXPRESS BAND E, QTY:5

SYMC ENCRYPTION MANAGEMENT SERVER BY PGP 3.3 PER USER RENEWAL ESSENTIAL 12 MONTHS EXPRESS BAND E, QTY:10

    PGP GATEWAY EMAIL

SYMC GATEWAY EMAIL ENCRYPTION POWERED BY PGP TECHNOLOGY 3.3 PER USER BNDL STD LIC EXPRESS BAND E ESSENTIAL 12 MONTHS, QTY:15

SYMC GATEWAY EMAIL ENCRYPTION POWERED BY PGP TECHNOLOGY 3.3 PER USER RENEWAL ESSENTIAL 12 MONTHS EXPRESS BAND E, QTY:10

SYMC GATEWAY EMAIL ENCRYPTION POWERED BY PGP TECHNOLOGY 3.3 PER USER RENEWAL ESSENTIAL 12 MONTHS EXPRESS BAND E, QTY:5

SYMC GATEWAY EMAIL ENCRYPTION POWERED BY PGP TECHNOLOGY 3.3 PER USER I/O ESSENTIAL 12 MONTHS, QTY:15

So, we previously had only a quantity of 10 users, but added 5 to make it 15. I also see 2 license keys and 1 license file on the express order. My main question is do I have to do anything on my end? Do I have to upload the license keys or files within the pgp encryption managment console? I don;t see a place to do that.

    Hi there,

In my opinion, you do not have to enter the license keys or files anywhere since it is already licensed and it should basically happen automatically. However, I would still suggest that you contact our Customer Care department to be 100% sure. Here is the link where you can find their phone number:

    All the best.

    Best regards,

Upload the license file to the Universal Server.  You can only have 1 license applied to a server, so it will replace the current license with the new one.

Go to the web front end and select System Settings then the button that says Licenses its about half way down page. Then upload the licesne file.
