  • 1.  PGP FileShare Encryption With GroupKey

    Hi,

    I set the ftp.exe in the force the encryption of files associated with the following applications;

    so the user download files from FTP Server with ftp.exe,the file will automatic encryption with the user's key;

    Is there any way to let it automatic encryption the files with the Group Key and made the key has the admin rights?

    Hi Tomge_Ji,

    Encrypting a file to group key has to be done manually using PGP desktop, the policy configuration on the server for encrypting a particular folder or for a particular application type applies to the user’s key belonging to that consumer policy.

    Have you thought about using the CLI to encrypt the file with the group key? You would need to ensure the group key public portion was available on the end points but it should be possible to carry this out by treating the group key as a user(with another key as an admin) or as the the admin itself.
