    Hi,

I have a Windows 10 machine and I'm not sure if there's a settings on PGP (Symantec Encryptop Desktop) that can turn this off. Outlook keeps asking me to reenter my passphrase after I wake up the machine from sleep mode.

Not sure if it has something to do with my power settings or it's in the PGP options, but I don't see anything regarding reentering my password after sleep mode.

Also, remembering the passphrase for the windows session is not an option. I have to let it save my passphrase for atleast more than 12 hours.

If anyone can help, that will be great.

    Thanks & Regards

    Which passphrase do you mean?

A PGP Bootguard (Disk Encryption) passphrase - for Encrypted machines - the same that you need to enter after starting the machine before loading Windows?

Or the passphrase of the key - for Messaging, email encryption - a passphrase that might be prompted after Windows is started?

Sorry for the late response. I saw on the other thread that it's by design. But I would like to hear your input.

It's for the Passphrase key for messaging, and email encryption. It prompts us for Passphrase everytime we open an encrypted email.
