    Hello,

I have question about PGP services.

I'm using PGP Desktop software with WDE and i want PGP for blackberry too. If i have license for PGP Desktop then i can use PGP Support Package for blackberry on the same licence? Or i have to buy new one? If i can use, then where i can get it?

    Regards

This Knowledge Base Article will help regarding licensing.    I believe one license is required for each BlackBerry.

Please be aware that you need to have a PGP Universal Server for using the BlackBerry Support Package.

Ok, i think that now i know everything, but there is one think i don't understand.

Why IPhone users can download PGP for free and use it without any problems and Blackberry users have to buy PGP Support Package? ( I have IPhone and Blackberry, so i can use it, but many of my colleagues use Blackberry :( )

    Why it is so complicated?

The app for IOS is a recent development and I don't know whether or not plans call for it being extended to other cell phone operating systems.  I believe it is only used for decryption, as opposed to the BlackBerry support also having encryption capability - this capability being free is somewhat consistent with the PGP Desktop Freeware having email proxy use for decryption but not encryption.

Thanks for your answer. Now i know everything :D I need it only for decryption in Blackberry, so it will be good if free PGP reader would be also available.

Thanks, you can close this case.
