Hello There,
Symantec PGP doesn’t synchronize the password with Active Directory server, it refreshes the password after next login/restart when changed using Alt+Ctrl+Del option.
Is your Symantec Encryption Desktop (SED) is managed by a Symantec Encryption management server (SEMS) ? And has version of 10.3.2 installed on system ?
1. Try to login PGP pre-boot authentication screen (bootguard ) using your OLD windows password, This will work if SED hasn’t yet refreshed your NEW windows password,
2. Contact your PGP WDE administrator and opt for WDRT token from server to use at bootgard screen.
If your SED is not managed by Encryption server, you can use disk WDRT token which was prompted to you at the beginning of encrypting your DISK.
Please note that This WDRT token for un-managed Symantec Encryption desktop is only available from version 10.3.2.
Thanks...
