    Hi Guys,

I have Windows 10 with Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3.2 MP10. I use CTRL+ALT+DEL for change password but not synchronize. I found that could be for permissions in PGPWDE01  file in c:\

This file in my system is not. I have enable View -> Hidden items.

Is this normal in windows 10..? If normal, what else can i check..?

NOTE: The disk appears as Disk 0 and Network Provider Order is fine.

    Thanks,

    Andrés

    Operation change user's passphrase failed:

Was the system upgraded while it was already encrypted?  If so, did you use the following tech article:

    Hi Guys,

I found three files, PGPWDE00, PGPWDE01 and PGPWDE02 (i lacked unchek operation system files,), Now,  i can´t to change the permissions. I 'm using four administrators accounts, local and domain account and nothing.

Appears: You do not have permission to view or edit this object's permissions settings, i can´t to change the owner, neither. It´s very weird.

    Please, any idea

    Thanks.

    Hi,

The only way I found was to remove the user from Symantec Encryption Desktop; Encrypt Disk -> User Access supporting me with another user.

    I really do not understand

Is it possible the first user was set up as a passphrase only user, and not tied to Windows?

Can you change the password for the new user, and does it sync?

    Hi,

Did you check the log on the server?

    Reporting > logs

filter out the log with client and time then try to locate the user name.

Please check the directory sync as well. Please check the setting for Directory Synchronization Settings.

log into your PGP server and navigate to page as below

Consumers > Directory Synchronization >  Settings

make sure you have a valid service account to reach the LDAP server.

    verify it by test connection.
