  • 1.  PGP Subscription after 1st year after Purchase

    Does PGP for Windows decrypt your hard drive, etc. after purchase of the 1st year license that isn't "renewed" ?

    I know the hard drive decrypts if the trial version isn't purchased.

    HI TN,

    PGP will not decrypt the hard drive.  The license never expires but your support will if you decide not to renew.  (Newer PGP versions 10 and above)

    To look at the license status, Open PGP Desktop, on the Tool bar, click on Help, License. 

    If you have an older version of PGP from ver. 9 and below the license may expire.
