PGP Universal Server - Inline Update

Hello,

to update PGP Universal Server from version 3.1.0 to 3.1.2 there are different ways:

- for new machines by downloading "PGPUniversalWeb3.1.2Full.zip" and extracting ISO image

- update existing machines via inline update by downloading PUP file

There are two PUP files offered for download:

- "PGPUniversal3.1.2.pup"

- "PGPUniversal3.1.2_PGPDesktop10.1.2.pup"

Does anybody know what are the differences between the two PUP files? It seems that the second file contains the last version of PGP Desktop but why is the file size smaller?

Thank you in advance for any hints.

Christian

Hi Christian,

The file seems smaller because it just contains only the PGP Desktop 10.1.2 Packages (without the other Server Patches) in case you just need only a newer PGP Desktop version that can be downloaded from your Universal Server.

Cheers,

Martin
