The root password is randomly generated and is not generally shared with the customer.  This is for security reasons. Is the problem that you do not have SSH access to the server? You can always generate a putty key and upload that to the PGP Universal Server through the Admin console. See the KB article here for info n how to do that. THat will still give you shell access as the root user.
