  • 1.  PGP Universal Server Upgrade

    Hi guys,

    After upgrade the Universal is done. For the PGP desktop, it can be done on Push method. Client machine will receive a notification to upgrade the PGP Desktop. Can it be done without client interaction?

    Hi Azrulikhwan,
     
    I am afraid regarding the updates and even the installation of the SED clients there is NO complet full invisible/silent installation/update for end users without a "keyboard touch". Either way at some stage it will be required to accept the license EULA or creating a keys (in terms of the new installation) or reboot the machine. As you see Push method will require to accept the license and reboot the machine.

    Hi azrulikhwan,

    You cannot do it without user interaction via PGP/SEMS server policies, but you can test with other deployment methods (scripts, GPO).

    Not sure if it will work for client upgrades, but you can test the silent enrollment (it requires SKM).

    Anyway, to install/upgrade the client we need administrative privileges. Are all of the users local administrators?
