Here is the error some of our remote users are receiving after they have update to 10.2 and after we have updated the console to 3.2. After connecting to the VPN though and what I assume is allowing the server to recognize that they have update, the issues resolves itself. Is there any other way around this other than having them connect so that the server can verify they have completed the update??

I´m sure if I understood your questions, but I will do my best to answer them:

1- In order to check if your PGP Desktop clients have been updated, go to Universal Console, Consumers tab, Devices. You can see all computers and it´s PGP Desktop version. Please note that sometimes this feature shows fake information, from times to times. We are already fixing this issue.

2- PGP: Message is blocked by policy - server not reachable.

Probably this error came up when sending email from PGP Desktop client computer.

Your PGP is not reaching Universal server: check your network and VPN settings. Try ping server from that computer.Check if your local or network firewall is not blocking PGP port (443)

    Keep me updated

We have our network set up to allow users to connect to their Outlooks and do normal email function without having to be on the VPN itself. It was only after the update did they lose that ability because of PGP, but once they connected to the VPN and disconnected they were able to work as normal. I guess the question to clarify it a bit, is more of after an update on the client side to a PC, should they be connecting back so that the server can see they have been updated?

Yes, after upgrade, PGP Desktop will need connection to Universal so the server can update the information.

PGP upgrade won´t never change your VPN/Network/Outlook configuration, so all these settings should remain the same

Great to know. It was our first time upgrading so we didn't know what to expect and I wasn't sure if that was a more serious issue or just the server recognizing the client. Thanks!
