PGP US 3.2.x clustger running on different version of VMware

    Hello team

    Good day.

I have a small doubt, If there is a PGP US 3.2.x running on two different versions of VMWare what is the effect on the cluster and the operational issues that may arraise because of this difference?

For example: PGP US 3.2.x on Linux Clustger server with VMware : one with VMware ESXi 4 and the other server with VMware ESXi 4.1.

I already went thru the bellow KB links.http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH149496&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1410177705017 and VMware Supported Versions - Symantec Encryption Management Server: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH149547

Is it possible with out upgrading the VMware tools to the same level (either to ESXi 4.1 or to ESXi 5/ 5.1) can we upgrade the PGP 3.2.1 to SEMS 3.3X?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

Upgrade of Vmware tools is not necessary but make sure ESXi 4.1 update is installed.

& Upgrade from 3.2.1 to 3.3.2 is not supported.

Upgrade from 3.2.1 to 3.3 or 3.3.1 is supported.

VMware ESXi, VMware ESX, and VMware vSphere 5 is a supported platform for Symantec Encryption Management Server.
