PGP Virtual Disk

Created: 25 Jul 2013 | 2 comments

I have PGP instaled with 4 virtual Disk,

This morning virtual disk did not show up. I refresh the PC and apps were deleted.

When I went to install PGP, it says I need to pay for renewal (I had Universal PGP version installed).

How can I recover the information on the VD?

Thanks

If you are in a PGP Universal managed setting, I'd suggest contacting your IT department.

What apps were deleted?

If you have the virtual disk pqd files, you might just need to double click on them, to mount them.

If PGP was actually disabled or uninstalled, you might be able to mount your virtual disks with the current trial version, available at  https://www4.symantec.com/Vrt/offer?a_id=109355

Of course, to mount a virtual disk, you need the necessary passphrase; and if it was encrypted to a public key, the necessary private key.
