My company sells a product that uses a software license key to control use. The algorithm we use looks at various hardware information to uniquely identify the target computer and this algorithm has served us well for numerous years. However, it doesn't work on PCs running WDE on Windows. Our investigations seem to indicate that using PGP WDE results in a different MAC address at each system reboot. Can this aspect of PGP WDE for Windows be disabled?
