File Share Encryption

We have PGP WDE 10.2 on a Windows 7 Pro 32bit client.  It's finished encrypting and it's at 100% but the progress bar is still going and won't allow us to add any other users because it's still acting as if it's encrypting.

Rebooting has had no affect, still does it.  Stopping it and pausing has no affect.  Been doing this for over an hour now.

We've had to just give in and click decrypt with no way of stopping the decryption (despite the pgpwde command stating that it can stop the decryption but then a PGP Tech saying it can't)

Any ideas of the cause of this or a fix?  We'll encrypt again but worry it will do it again.

You can try running encryption in safe mode next time.

make sure there is no security software interfering this process. Close them all just in case.

You can try out this commands to fix encryption status:

pgpwde --resume --disk 0 -p PASSWORD

pgpwde --add-user --disk 0 --user USERNAME -p PASSWORD

pgpwde --resume --disk 0 --force

pgpwde --stop --disk 0
