  • 1.  PGP WDE unlock command issue

    We have addressed the problem of unlock command in PGP desktop 10.1.2 version.

     

    Example:

    In first screen shoot explains, when I am trying to unlock PGP using my PGP password the unlock has been successful.

     

      

     

    Same as in second screen shoot I am entering something in to password column, but it is also successful.

     

     

     

    I don’t know what is the different between two things.

    if the disk is unlocked, even if you do not provide a password, it might be that your disk is encrypted to an ADK or a WDE-Admin key and you have the private key of any of those two in your local keyring.

    try listing all users with pgpwde --list-users --disk 0 and check to whom the disk is encrypted to.
