PGP Whole disk encryption on dual partition W7 machine

I have had some trouble encrypting a couple HP computers in the office with WDE 10.0.3 that have a recovery partition built into the disk.  For whatever reason, after the encryption has finished, when I try to boot the computer it 'locks' up before I can enter the passphrase and then I essentially have to decrypt from the boot disk or external drive.  Is there a workaround to get this encryption to work correctly or will I continue to run into this issue every time I try to Install/Encrypt?  I believe it is happening because the recovery partition is part of the disk that is encrypted, is there a way to encrypt all of the disk except the recovery?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

When choosing to encrypt the disk, you should have a plus sign before it that you can use to expand it to showing each partition; then being able to select only the partition you  want encrypted.

You may also want to consider getting on a more recent build of PGP Desktop 10.0.3 since that is probably one of the worst 10.x versions to be one. You can obtain a newer version of the software from FileConnect or the Symantec licensing portal.
