Although it is an old case and not yet marked as solved I might presume is still not solved. There is a newer version SED 10.3.1/SEMS 3.3.1 which can resolve this issue if the previous version did not.

Also are you able to provide the model of the laptop / and type of the HDD ?
From my practical point of view this issue persist with the latest version of the product on the laptop
