1. Both AV servers are in failover, load balancing & site replication which should work after server shifting.

2. Current IP address of both AV servers will get changed as per IDC IP subnet.

3. The server is managing more than 15000 clients located at North and West region of India including overseas (international) branches .

4. We have configured around 847 GUP which also should work after server shifting.

Hi pete

As we are physically shifting our servers from one location to another,

Where the IP address of both the servers will change because of IDC  IP Subnets.

Can Replication be stopped or it has to be deleted.

if you delete the replication

if you delete the replication is deleted, replication will not happen. However you can re add the partner once upgrade/migration is done.

Hi pete

we r not migrating but we are going to move physical machine from one location to another.

Currently we have a replication partner on it.

first step we will keep the new ip in priority 2 of msl once all the client report then we can change the old ip to new one.

what about its the replication partner?

Thanks

Re

Hi Anil,

Using replication method is the best option to move your SEPM to another system with different IP and Host Name.
