Point Declined Issue.

hi,

I have used symantec connect from last 1 week.

Before three days I had 32 points.

Today i have observed that i have -65 points.

Due to this i have seen detailed point Approved and declined and i found that i had -100,-5 and -5 declined points.

I had not done any malicious activity over here.

I Want to know why this is and haw it can be reverted?

Hi,

the thumb's down, leading to -1, used to be in effect a while back (talking 18 months and maybe even before that), but this was removed. Instead, what happens now if you get a thumb's down, you don't lose the point.

There was a bit of abuse (I was 1 of the guys to copy something where a user went on a bit of a rampage, created multiple accounts and thumbed a lot of my posts down), so I guess this was a major reason for taking it away.

I've checked your history so far, and you have 11 comments (11 points), 2 Ideas (2 x 5 points), and 2 forum threads (2 points), giving you a grand total of 23 points. It's quite possibly a glitch in the system, and I'd suggest you contact an admin via a PM.

You can check your points on your profile and see if you really are getting any -1's.

Thanx craigv for such information but points has been deducted -100 and -5,there is not a single -1.

if i want to contact admin i don't know procedure.

...did you perhaps create a forum query as an article? This would see you get 100 points initially before they got removed.
