    Hello.
I'm working on the policy configuration of Symantec Brightmail Anti-Spam Gateway in my company.
I wanted to know if there was some service or some online tool to send messages that are classified as surely as spam and suspected spam.
Also I can not understand the flow of processing policy.
If the user is in Group_A with policy "Delete Spam", Group_B with "Mark as spam policy" and default policy is "put in quarantine", the first two policies are not considered.
Do you have any link to see about setting up rules for the Brightmail? over to the owner's administrator.
    Thank you all.

Check out this link to test for spam:

Why is the user in more than one group?  You probably need to decide which policy the user needs to be in and create the rules from there.

User are in more than one group for my testing, because we want to create one policy foreach ActiveDirectory OU rapresented by an email address and one policy for user mail address.

My email adress is in group_a with policy "Quarantine spam message". In my test represent a office mail

My email is also in group_b with default policy (change message object with [spam]). In my test represent a personal mail.

My custom policy is before default policy.

Custom policy seems to be ignored.

    Sorry for my english.

    Thank for the link.

Groups are processed in the order they are listed.  Use the Find User tool to to see the evaluation order for any particular user.

Group_A tops the list with policy add the tag [SPAM] object.
The default policy is set to quarantine the message.
Using the find tool user, the policy for the Group_A is applied as the first policy to my mailbox. Is not considered, the default policy is always applied.

    I've found my error.

When I turn on Active Directory integration, I not turn on Address Resolution option.

    Now all works fine.

    Sorry for all.
