Is there any way to compare two similar policies or is there a way to track changes to a policy?

we track that a policy has been changed, and by whom, but not what changed (at the moment)
Since policies are just XML, you could export each policy from the SEPM, rename the .DAT extension to .ZIP and open the XML inside the ZIP file, you could then use a comparison utility to compare the XML.

Thanks for your help. The compare shows a lot of changes (timestamps, etc.) but it may be useful.
