This issue has been solved. See solution.

Dear all,

Where can i found the policy to disable the function in Outlook Autoarchive with Symantec Enterprise Vault 8.
I found the function in Enterprise Vault but that is when we are import PST files so i hope that we can do it with a Policy in E-Vault.

Many Thanks,
Ronny Vos

It's not an evault policy.

It's not an evault policy. It's something you'll want to do with a group policy in active directory

http://www.windowsitpro.com/article/archiving/autoarchive-and-disablepst-in-outlook.aspx

In Group Policy, load the Office Outlook 2007 template (Outlk12.adm) and under User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Office Outlook 2007\Tools, Options, Other, AutoArchive select Disable File, Archive. Yes, you enable the disabling of the feature.

That is part of the PST

That is part of the PST migration process, it will set the Auto-Archive to be disabled.

I personally would rather have this set via Group Policy as mentioned above.

I don't believe this is a

I don't believe this is a "normal" policy entry, unfortunately.  You can only do it via PST migration policies, and/or group policy.
