  • 1.  Policy error

    I'm testing apolicy on a machine (WinXP SP3 policy on a SP2 machine). Its not working.

    the client log shows this :

    Inventory rule task completed, result = false]

    Unable to update local SMF Agent cache w/ detection rule result

    any ideas what this is and why its not working ?

    Is that the full error?  It seems a little sparse.

    I dont even know if that error relates to the policy issue. If I run the magaed software as  a quick delivey it works. If its in a policy it doesn't..
